Ikerath Joseph Sam has worked in various organizations (India & Internationally based) in a wide variety of roles spanning Operations, Consulting, Marketing, Sales & Business Development and Leadership. As a CXO he has scaled start-ups as well as established companies and worked in sectors such as Retail, Luxury, Realty, Building Materials & Mining. He is well travelled and is conversant with various cultures, international business practices and is a ardent believer in the story of Bharat. He believes that it is time for India to exemplify its Vedic values of dharma, satya and daya on the global stage through its business practices.

He’s built businesses with an entrepreneurial outlook from its incubation phase i.e., from business planning to scaling and has actively spearheaded activities in every aspect of building a business. He has prodigiously managed deal sourcing, facilitated investments, managed business P&L and growth through organic & inorganic market expansion, negotiated alliances & joint ventures including licensing & franchising deals for expansion, customer acquisition, product innovation and leveraging business synergies, both online & offline in various sectors.

His acquired leadership skill sets include executive management, business P&L- top – bottom line, business strategy & planning, branding & marketing, alliances-JV’s-partnerships, business & brand valuation, global business development, contracts, people management and investor relations. Some of the added skillsets that have been recently learnt include Social media marketing, ESG, Environmental Law & the application of Circular Economy principles.
