Engineering and Technology Center GET JSC, (a Rosatom company), Russia and Royal India Corporation Ltd, India SIGN AN MOU To Establish GLOBAL EXCELLENCE & TRAINING CENTRES FOR NUCLEAR, THERMAL & OTHER ENERGY FACILITIES.

Engineering and Technology Center GET JSC Russia and Royal India Corporation Limited (RICL), India have signed an Memorandum of Understanding, which will lead to a Joint venture entity in the near future, focusing on a unique business model that amalgamates Education & Training with R&D, Innovation and Establishing best practices in the Operations and Management of Nuclear, Thermal and other Renewable Energy Utilities. This will encompass building a collaborative ‘Centre of Excellence’ platform between Nuclear / Thermal & Renewable Utility Operators, Universities, Leading Experts, Government Agencies, Corporations, Vendors & others in the Supply chain to ensure ‘higher’ cogency, productivity & capacity utilization for the Energy Sector.

There will be the added focus on establishing a framework wherein Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security and Digital Twin projects can be researched, innovated on, implemented and iteratively developed so that global benchmarks are established in the Energy sector. A World Class physical facility equipped with experts, technology & a running business & research based academic model will be put up in the next few months This will broadly entail facility & plant simulation with state-of-the-art simulators, data back up with digital twin infrastructure, cybersecurity & other facility productivity & capacity building tools. This will be targeted towards Governments, Corporations, Universities & other Research & Academic institutions which are establishing business and educational models in these fields.

The venture will seek to collaborate with Institutions of Excellence across the region to ensure that these fields of specialization are made accessible to a wider professional and technical pool of resources. Some of the key deliverables of this venture range from the joint design & development of educational & professional training programmes to integration of educational standards & training modules into our academic partners programmes.

With the advent of SMR’s globally what will be needed in the next 3 to 5 years will be the quintessential blend of what is practical, academic and innovative so that the resource pool is nurtured from this point so that there won’t be a shortage when a multitude of Utility plants are commissioned at the same time.

The business model will also entail Master classes, Conferences & Knowledge platforms for experts & students to engage with each other, joint publication of research & white papers and the development of multilingual content with e-learning democratizing the offerings to a much more global audience. The added outcome will also be to proliferate a positive awareness, environment and education around Nuclear & Renewable Energy especially about its benefits, the outcomes & opportunities through this leadership platform. This includes also communicating its core benefits through International forums, exhibitions, conferences, scientific working groups & research bodies.
